After our pitch day project, we gathered more connections as we contacted and connected with Mr. Smith who is our county's director of communication and community outreach. We also got with Mr. Hercamp, Mr. Young, Mr. Dinwiddie, and Mr. Theobald to have a separate meeting to discuss our future plans and ideas. We were able to discuss and get more information about some potential directions of our project and also how to go forward. Out of this meeting we would get the curriculum that we could use and also get the idea of meeting with Mrs. Arnold, who is the media center coordinator for Brandywine elementary. We discussed with her about the ideas we had and she gave us feedback on what we could adapt to in what they're doing at school. We were also able to check out the large inventory of different educational tools that we can use during out lessons. We now plan on having meetings with the other schools to see if we can incorporate a similar experience between all of the schools, so as they grow older and move to the intermediate or junior high, they will be able to have an experience thats common with one another. Moving forward, we plan to have our first class experience with Mrs. Arnold either before fall break or shortly after. We're grateful for Mr. Theobald, the principle of Brandywine elementary, for letting us come into his school and meet with Mrs. Arnold, and overall being excited and open armed towards our project. We're also thankful for all of the admins that have been guiding us through this process and getting us to where we need to be so that we can have a lasting impact on the school corporation.
